Viña Requingua is based in Sagrada Familia, Curicó Valley, Chile, where Mediterranean climate, diurnal shifts, and alluvial-clay soils favor balanced ripening. Founded in 1961 by the Achurra family, the estate has grown into a vertically integrated operation with extensive estate vineyards and modern cellars. The team combines precision viticulture, canopy management, and careful yield control with selective hand harvesting for top tiers, cold soaks for aromatics, and maturation in a calibrated mix of French and American oak. Sustainable water use and site-specific parceling underpin a consistent, terroir-driven style.
Beyond flagship bottlings, the portfolio spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Syrah, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Carignan, plus Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Viognier, with rosé and late-harvest expressions in select vintages. Labels include Toro de Piedra, Potro de Piedra, and Puerto Viejo across Reserva, Gran Reserva, and Limited Edition tiers, featuring single-varietal wines and blends crafted from specific blocks.
